ISSUE TWO WRITERS
Scrapes by devouring apples and oranges at a concerning degree. Orchards, armed to the teeth with heavy artillery cannons and walls thicker than Constantinople hold him barely at bay. Orchard owner’s romantic relationships deteriorate due to high stress and bedside prayers, calling to God to defend them against him, are incredibly complex and academic. He goes to Cleveland State University.
JUDE RALL
Michael Anderson is a fiction writer and playwright spawning from Cleveland, Ohio. He keeps his magical powers a secret, and instead applies his ability to the creation of this very literary magazine and tending to his thousands of acres of herbal farmland. But, in reality, he is currently training for the Cleveland Marathon.
MICHAEL ANDERSON
Al is a Cleveland-based poet and actor whose poems have previously appeared in Sunday Mornings at the River Press. In her spare time, she enjoys staring at the ceiling and watching paint dry.
AL MENDOZA
Aviana Tovanche is a senior at Cleveland State majoring in Political Science and minoring in Philosophy. Writing has always been a significant part of her life in several capacities, both academically and personally. While growing up, she participated in her school’s Power of the Pen program and could always be found working on a short story. Upon entering college, her writing focus has shifted towards prose-poetry and short essays. In addition to creative writing, Aviana has also written and edited for an informative legal magazine.

Audrey is currently a third-year undergraduate student at Cleveland State University studying creative writing. They are also (shocker!) a part-time barista in Lakewood. Audrey loves Blood Orange, Hello Kitty, and going to bed early.

Dominic Dulin is a poet and multidisciplinary artist out of Cleveland, Ohio. They have had poetry published by Iterant, Yum! Lit, Coma, among others. Their first chapbook "Type Man Type" is forthcoming from Community Mausoleum.

Benjamin Ketterer is a senior at Cleveland State University, majoring in English Education. He’d like to be a high school Language Arts teacher. He enjoys studying and engaging with others through all forms of art. He is an accomplished pianist who also likes to draw weird stuff sometimes too.

Tom Scherer is an Ohio-based writer and possible painter. He has been schooled in creative writing at Cleveland State University, London Metropolitan University, and the University of Akron. Tom loves books that reflect and poems that experiment. And when he's not trying to come up with something to say, you might find him watching vines grow up old buildings.

Micah A. Saunders is an actor and playwright from Cleveland, Ohio, where they attend Cleveland State University as a theatre acting student and as the president and founding member of CSU's Playwright's Club. Their first play, the Flying Gang, is in the rehearsal process as a student production slated for this May.

Lillian is a writer living in Cleveland. She is currently pretending to be a psychology student at CSU. Her writing can be found in various hidden spots downtown and on friends' shower walls.

Valentine (they/he) is a student in the NEOMFA creative writing program for poetry. They love folklore, D&D, Pokémon, and reinterpreting life through a queer lens. They strive to write things that fuck your brain up in new exciting ways and rewire you against white Christian cisheteronormative hegemony. They have also eaten a raw salmon heart, and thus have all the power of a salmon.

Entrepreneur and jazz guitarist Jackson Perisutti studies urban planning and economics at Cleveland State University.

J. A. Leach is a graduate of Mercyhurst University with a Bachelor of Arts in Professional Writing. He has a penchant for urban legends and cryptids, currently writing informational videos and short stories on the subject under ‘black_index’ on YouTube. He's had many hobbies, but writing has been his one constant.
