Editors Statement
We are trying, by no means, to be anti-intellectuals. We like intellectuals who do love with their keenness. Like, for instance, Einstein. Now wisdom is different from intelligence. Wisdom is about judgment, having experience, the quality of someone with depth, and, now, isn’t that just something you want? It’ll definitely make it easier to sell whatever you’re peddling, if you come across that way, your muscle powders and enlightenment solutions, your perfect sex-segregated world, your extermination plan, etc. How do you judge a good judge, how can you see depth, without having it yourself, and today, in this country (America) you’re peddled wisdom so you can understand the wise. This magazine is a place where you can read for fun, though there will be some serious topics, but our goal is not to equalize the world or destroy it. The goal is for you to seriously read some serious writing with no other attachments or memorabilia or gunk attached with it. Read, enjoy, don’t worry. Misophist. That’s a proper slogan now. We hate slogans here at Misophist. Wisdom doesn’t equal dogma but all demagogues will tell you they’re wise.
